Basketball Court Town Coin Collection Issues 12/28/21

Gala Games is currently aware of an issue collecting rewards. There’s no news yet as to when this fix will be corrected. Hang Tight Town Stars!

Fix: If you cannot collect Town Coin currently, the issue is being caused by you playing the basketball court. Please remove the court and then you can collect!

Gala is aware of an issue where anyone who placed the Basketball Court yesterday was not able to collect. The only fix was to remove the court, yet when you did that you could collect, but you’d only get a portion of what you should earn. Gala is digging into this with the engineers. The fix for the basketball court was deployed last night and Gala has tested it again internally, notifying Town Stars they should all be good-to-go to place and collect today.

More News that the The shoes are still WIP – which means that the Full Court Press Bonus is still in question. From Gala – “heads up on the Stephen Curry Courts/Shoes project. As you know this project was done in collaboration with several partners, one of which is Luna Market. The shoes which can be claimed with the court for the Full Court Press Bonus are currently held up by some smart contract work being done by Luna Market for their claim site. We have tested testnet shoes in game, but they are currently telling us that they need to redeploy their mainnet contract for the shoes before they allow people to claim them. Until this happens, we cannot bring the Full Court Press Bonus online, because we need the specific contract address to index.

We just wanted to let everyone know, because I know people are very excited about the ability to claim their shoes. We will update you guys as soon as we know more. We are actively working with Luna to get the information to our engineers as quickly as possible and will update you as soon as we know more.”

Just wanted to take a moment to let you know that YOU CAN NOW CLAIM YOUR SHOES! We have been working hard with the wonderful folks over at Luna Market and they have turned the site on for claims. We are currently re-indexing the contract, so it may be some time before you can see your shoes in your Gala Games Inventory, but you are safe to go ahead and claim now!

The Full Court Press will be online and active in Town Star by Thursday the 6th. It might come sooner, but we are giving some extra padding just in case.
