New Town Star META Build that Produces 120 Candy Canes Per Hour
Want to produce 120 Candy Canes per hour in Town Star to try and claim the Top 10 Elite spots on the weekly competition? Follow this Candy Cane META build and you’ll be up and running in no time competing for the top spots in the Weekly Play to Earn competition.
The first step is setting up a Peppermint Farming Area, and as well as Sugar Production at the Windmills. The last step is setting up passive energy production. Follow these steps and you too can be the next Town Star. First let’s cover what it takes to build the sweet treats Lolli and Pops call “Candy Canes“.
Required Buildings & Materials for Candy Canes & Current Meta
Farm Buildings: Tree Farms (15x), Peppermint Farms (15x), Sugar Cane Fields (20x), Storehouse (2x), Lumber Yard (2x), Farm Tractor (8x), The Logger House (8x), Windmill (10x), Candy Shop (12x)
Terrains: Pond, Paved Roads
Industrial Buildings: Refinery (1x), Fuel Storage (2x), Water Pump (5x), Oil Pump (16x), Power Plant (10x)
Candy Cane Raw Materials: 4 Peppermint, 6 Sugar or (36 Sugar Cane), 10 Energy
META Candy Cane Raw Materials: 2 Peppermint, 3 Sugar or (18 Sugar Cane), 5 Energy
Setting up the Candy Cane Crop Operation
The first step is to set up a Tree Farm, Sugar Cane Field & Peppermint Farming Area aka known as Crop Operation.
The first step is setting up a Peppermint Farming Area, and as well as Sugar Production at the Windmills. The last step is setting up a passive energy production.
Follow these steps and you too can be the next Town Star.
Step 1 – Farm Crop Operation: To start off this build, begin building your Peppermint, Tree and Sugar Cane Farming Areas! You want to build 2-3 Peppermint Farms that are around 4×4 in size. Repeat this area plot size with your Tree Farms and followed by your Sugar Cane Fields. Next up is building a Windmill. This will produce the sugar you need to upgrade your settlement and also stage your town for Candy Cane Production.
Step 2 – Sugar Rush: At the same time you should be setting up Sugar Production at the Windmills. In order to produce Sugar, you’ll need to plant Sugar Cane Fields. and also a Storehouse to store your crafted Sugar. These two buildings work together well when combined with The Candy Cane META build to create the required ingredients to craft Candy Canes besides our Candy Shop.
Step 3 – Passive Energy: The second building you’ll want to add in Town Star is a Passive Energy Production like Solar Panels or Power Plants. These have the added benefit of being able to produce energy even when they are placed within the proximity of other buildings. You can also fit in Power Plants or Solar Panels where it makes sense to do so, but most players just stick with the passive energy production of converting crude oil to energy.
Step 4 – “Take Ya to the Candy Shop”: Lastly, it’s time to lay down the Candy Shop’s and start pumping out Candy Canes. Now that you have a steady candy cane production, it’s time to set up your passive energy farm. I try to keep the Candy Shops built near the Power Plants to provide passive power. What’s also great about this META to produce Candy Canes is the production raw materials are cut in half. Which means, 2 Peppermint, 3 Sugar or (36 Sugar Cane), 5 Energy. You still need to have a decent Sugar Production going in order to keep up with the demand of the Candy Shops. Bear in mind that during this META, the candy canes value is only at $2500, so it’s not enough to keep wages up by producing just Candy Canes. You’ll need to have a Tier 4 or Tier 5 production going to keep up with producing 120 Candy Canes an hour.
Step 5 – Upgrade Buildings and Roads: Now that you’re producing Candy Canes, it’s time to up the Candy Cane Production per hour. This is where you upgrade the Farm Houses to Farm Tractors, the Wood Sheds to Lumber Yards, Lumberjack Houses to The Logger House, and get passive watering going so your crops are on optimal green timers. You may also need to rebuild and replan your town if you didn’t set things up properly (but that’s ok, you can still pump out 80-100 Candy Canes per hour).
If you really want to speed things up, you can grab yourself one of the 3 Candy Shop NFTs ranging from Uncommon to Legendary. Here’s the perks of the Lolli and Pops Shop below.
Increased Production Speed
There are four different levels of speed, ranging from basic (in-game) to quicker, faster, and super fast (technical jargon), each with three levels of Lolli & Pop’s Shop rarity.
Standard in-game — regular production speed
Uncommon NFT — 50% faster production than standard
Rare NFT — 3x standard speed
Legendary NFT — 6x standard speed
Free Wages
The lower the wage that must be paid to the operators, Lolli and Pop, the more valuable the asset is. The Legendary shop is an exquisite location that both are willing to work there for free simply because of it.
Standard in-game — $150 per minute
Uncommon NFT — $100 per minute
Rare NFT — $50 per minute
Legendary NFT —No cost at all!
Increased Unit Speed
When so many ingredients are needed for a craft, unit speed is critical. This is when it’s beneficial to have a car. Pop tears around town at breakneck speeds when he’s in a good mood, so naturally he flies into and out of the Legendary store!
Standard in-game — standard Lolli foot speed
Uncommon NFT — “Sunday driver” — 50% faster than Lolli foot speed
Rare NFT — “Wild and Free” — 2x Lolli foot speed
Legendary NFT — “Reckless Abandon” — 3x Lolli foot speed
Sweet Benefits
Aside from all of the above and the general awesomeness of seeing a sleek wind-up automobile around your town, there are several more things to think about before acquiring your production facility.
Place it for Free
This is a considerable benefit (and early start in competition) in comparison to the usual in-game unit price of $150,000. Being able to put it down right away and begin producing sweets as soon as possible will almost always give you a significant edge in either Weekly Competition or your Daily Challenge. You may also move it around and rearrange it at any time.
Own it and Sell it if You Want
This is the core of our aim for empowerment at Gala Games, and it’s also true of each NFT we sell. You actually own it, so you can do anything you want with it. Play for gifts, give it to a buddy, or sell it on the secondary market! Soon, with the Town Market Board, you’ll be able to lend it to other players for a passive percentage of their profits!
